Services

Riding Lesson and Coaching

Riding lessons are typically 45 mins to an hour in length, depending on the activity, weather and fitness level of the rider and mount.

Lesson Fees:  

$60 Initial Lesson (one person)

$45 Individual Lesson

$30 Group Lesson (3 rider max)

Show Coaching:

$60 for first two hours, then $20/hr thereafter

 

Mileage Surcharge $5 if one-way travel exceeds 15 miles, $10 if one-way travel exceeds 30 miles.

Insurance certificate provided upon request.  I consider it of utmost importance to work with facility managers and property owners to make sure lessons are conducted in a manner that is considerate, polite and of minimum disturbance to routine operations.

Horse Management Consulting

Equine management is a combination of art and science.  Consultation services are tailored to you and your horses' specific needs.  Provide tools and guidance for efficent and effective facility operations. Horse care consultation services can include everything from equine nutrition and parasite management to grooming, bitting and tack fitting.  Winter care optimization is a popular subject.

 

Facility consultation is about making your barn and paddocks/pastures a safe, happy place for your horses to live. Careful planning and execution of new construction or improvement projects ensures the best outcome within your budget. 

 

Assistance with navigating the requirements for local, national and international memberships and registrations with organizations such as the FEI, USEF, USDF, USEA in order to be eligible to compete at desired competitions and be eligible for award programs.  Can provide show entry services. 

Equestrian Services

Competition Management services specializing in Dressage, Eventing or Hunter/Jumper shows from schooling to USEF recognized include all aspects of show organization including trouble-shooting, schedule/ride time development, show secretary and show manager.

 

On a limited case-by-case basis services such as vacation care, wound care, and show prep including braiding and trim or body clipping can be provided.  Fees for these services are by private treaty.

I attend various types of shows...primarily dressage, eventing and hunter/jumper disciplines, both schooling and recognized. If a show or event you are interested in attending is not listed, please ask.

Not listed are Queen City Dressage Circuit and Dayton Local Show Circuit shows.
